Michigan’s Proposal 2
Over the last two years, Michigan has implemented important education reforms that will significantly improve the quality of education Michigan students receive. Michigan is moving forward with policies that will ensure that every child has a great teacher by ensuring that teacher staffing decisions are based on quality. The legislature has also taken steps to ensure that the state is fiscally sound.
Proposal 2 would wipe out the progress made by Michigan's leaders over the past few years. It would eliminate the ability to continue implementing ongoing education reforms, without the consent of individual collective bargaining agreements, in each of Michigan’s 550 school districts.
Let's keep Michigan moving forward. Vote no on Proposal 2.
